Pulled into gas station. Fueled up. 04 F350 V10 won't start. Good Battery. No clicking, etc. Guage needles all move (oil only up a tick... don't know if it should show full pressure). It's almost like When you (or ME) try to start it when it's in Drive. (it's in park). I tried moving it to Neutral. It came out of Park hard but still nothing. Brake pedal very stiff. I do have a tail light out... Have read that the fuse, solenoid can cause issues. Had it towed. Garage opens Monday. Any ideas?
Wait for the garage to open on Monday and to call you. It's kind of pointless to ask now since you can't do anything with any suggestions that might have been made.
Absolutely true that I can't do a thing. Just wondering if any of the knowledgeable and helpful people here had an idea based on the symptoms.
Thanks anyway.
Do you want the whole list of what it *might* be? There's insufficient information to narrow the options down any and no way for you to check anything to make the list shorter.
A competent technician should have it diagnosed in about 10 minutes once it's in the shop.
Was thinking starter as I read through the original post. If next time you don't here the starter engage you can always bang them with a hammer and sometimes free the plunger or engage it.
