4x4 PS Swap
I have read the "Read First" articles on this but I'm unclear about something. Will a 78 1/2 ton 4x4 PS box fit and bolt right on to my 77 3/4 ton 4x4 Highboy frame? One article says 78-79 F250 PS box will bolt right on with the 4 mounting holes. My question is will the F150 PS box bee the same and have the same 4 mounting holes. I was told that the F150 mounted on inside of frame and F250 mounted on outside of frame. For this reason is why I am asking.

No the f150 and f250 boxs of that generation will not bolt up 3 versus 4 bolt mounting. there is many ways to adapt power steering to these trucks nowadays with welders and some fab work. But there is no direct bolt in stock parts to convert. There is aftermarket kits available for the not so DIY types I think....
