Brush Guard/Pusher

Saw this local CL ad. I was wondering if this is anything factory or made by someone that it would be worth something, or if it's just something homemade, which it looks like to me.

I think the basic guard is a vintage offering, not from Ford. I have seen a couple other guards with the same shape. I think the embellishment in the center was a home made add on. The rest of the guard looks pretty good.

edit: looks like it all was vintage aftermarket. Check out this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...ll-guards.html

If I remember right there was a thread on this subject before and that brush guard looks the same, aftermarket of the time. Doing a search on it might prove difficult though as I never have much luck.

I have one exactly like that and I have seen one in a local newspaper article about old junk yards. It must be an aftermarket part.

It could almost pass for a headboard for a queen sized bed, just need to have it bronzed.

Good luck with that!

I did know about them all being aftermarket, but I was just thinking this might be one of those rare, desirable brands that people were looking for. The old aftermarket for these old trucks is so darn cool, especially the stuff for the bonus builts. Haven't seen as much aftermarket for the effies.
