Cool More fuel injection problems...

Working on this fuel injection system is driving me nuts. I finally stopped all the leaks I had and took her out for a test drive. She ran great, I went about 15 miles and suddenly my fuel guage started going down like I flushed a toilet....turned around and got back home. 30 miles and a full tank of fuel, the return hose going to the drivers side bank blew. My question is this, could I have built up too much pressure from my FPR or could it just be an old rotted hose. I can see that the hose wasn't in great shape so I'm assuming that's the problem but is it possible that the fuel pressure regulator is screwed up and building way too much pressure up. Last I checked I had 70 PSI at an idle.

Likely just a rotted hose.
