You're a savior, unplugging the Rabs saved me a trip to the transmission shop. I've tried everything I could think for OD flashing lights and thundering shifts. I replaced the VSS, MAP and neutral safety switch. followed miles of harness, unplugged anything i could find to clean and hit with dielectric grease but this has my truck shifting like new!! I unplugged mine about a year and a half ago because of hard shifting into drive and my speedo bouncing between 40km and 140km when I was driving between 80 and a 100km. Everything has been working great since haven't had a hard shift and no more bouncing needle.
Well unplugging the RABS didn't last long. Did about 60 miles and the whole thing started again. peeked into the diff through the vss hole and the tone ring is rusty. new one came today, i'll keep updating as things resolve or not.
