transfer case not engageing. Help.....
i have a 2004 f 250 XLT 6.0 turbo diesel. has the switch for the 4 wheel drive on the dash instead of the shifter. when i turn the switch to 4 high the light comes on but nothing happens. when i turn it to 4 low nothing happens and the "Low Range" light does not come on. when i try to drive it, it is obviously still in 2 high. I there a solenoid or something that engages the transfer case? the switch is working or the light on the dash wouldn't light up. wish i just had the old shifter style. only linkage to deal with.
