so last weekend i did some work to my 2003 f350 new ipr valve and icp sensor and pig tails and updated the oil return line for the turbo and a egr delete and everthing was great my random cutting out was gone and she hualed and was loving it. but when i got to work today i had a little coolant leak no big deal it was leaking form the oil cooler hosing to the egr tube. i know better then to use the hose that came in the kit but i did and it leaked so i went to pull it off with out pulling everthing back apart and ended up braking the pipe on the oil cooler housing...... it looks like i can remove just that pice off the top of the cooler but not sure and i cant find a break down of it to see so what im asking is if any one knows if i can remove and replace that or do i have to do the housing? if so part number would be great like i said bad day for me.....
Yes I believe that's it but I don't have the hole on top but not sure I will get it back in my shop after I get off and get some pics to make sure
It will have the hole in the top(center) there is another cover that goes over this piece. In the picture above the EGR coolant supply adapter is upside down.
my ford dealer had one hand and got it one and put about 1200 miles on her last weekend and no leaks so we are all good there. but i did notice that when i got in the hills and was pulling hard my temp was getting to 220 and my fan was not kicking in at all. is the fan common to fail or do i need to check the harness? thanks for all the help guys too its really nice to all this info all in one place and good people!!!
