I've searched and come up with a service replacement for a complete engine 390
How did you get this part number, and why are you looking for this? Most people have a part and want to know the part number. Was this number on some kind of receipt? if so take a picture of the receipt and post it here.
C8TZ-6007-HX .. 390 Bare Block with Pistons - 1968/76 F100/350. Block bored, 390 pistons installed.
If the number was C8TZ-6009-HX .. 390 Rebuilt Short Block / If the number was C8TZ-6012-HX .. 390 Rebuilt Long Block (without T/E).
If the prefix was C8TZ and the suffix was GX = 360.
Short blocks don't come with heads, long blocks do. Rebuilt long blocks do not come with manifolds/waterpumps/valve covers/oil pans and etc accessories.
With an X as part of a part numbers suffix, this is the dead bang give-away that this is a Authorized FoMoCo Rebuilder part number.
Here in LA LA Land and other parts of the West Coast, GPD (Genuine Parts Distributors - formerly Tumador Engine) was/is FoMoCo's Authorized Rebuilder.
Originally located in Santa Fe Springs, they relocated to the City of Industry about 10 years ago.
Dunno who the rebuilder was for Colorado, it could have been GPD, or Fred Jones, FoMoCo's largest rebuilder based in OKC
Fred Jones was a Ford, Fordson (tractor), Lincoln/Mercury (and Edsel) dealer with locations throughout OK. His rebuilt plant is the former Ford assembly plant at 901-999 W Main St. OKC
