Hello from Indiana!

I've made a few posts and realized I haven't made an introduction, so hello!

This looks like a great forum and it appears to be full of great people and great conversations! I joined because I just bought a new Ford Transit 350 XLT with the Ecoboost engine. I've also had a 2002 F150 for about 5 or 6 years, with only 55k miles on it. It is a 4wd King Ranch Super Crew with a 5.4 and the off-road package. The truck is in super shape, but it belonged to my Mother-in-law and it sat at her house for probably 3 or 4 years. The North Carolina sun faded the seats and they look terrible. They function well, though. The thing runs like a top. I put some slightly larger BFG All Terrains on it, and it is now a snow beast.

I grew up in a GM house, but my dad did have a big motorhome for awhile with a Ford 460. We used to razz him about it, but he didn't care. He always told us that Ford and GM were so competitive that they both made great products and that the biggest differences were in people's pride. I've had great experience with both, and I just love trucks, so it doesn't matter anyway. I know this, though: The Ford Transit van seems to be really well engineered and it drives like no other full sized van. I'm loving this thing! I've got 9 kids, so there weren't many choices for vehicles, so to say I'm happy Ford developed this thing would be an understatement.

Anyway, I look forward to sharing some great stories and info on here in the coming years.
