Stumped!

Wife drover truck to town, started up perfect, idle perfect, accelerated perfect, cut off perfect. No problems at all going to town. Truck ran perfectly good no hesitation, no spitting, no sputtering, no rough idle.
She parked the truck went into store came out started truck up again no problem again. She gets going down the road and truck cuts off instantly no spitting, no sputtering, no surging, just cuts slam off. Towed truck back to the house. First though was fuel filter so we got a new one but removing the old one the gas was black like coffee. So I decided to open the tank up and noticed dirt and rust in tank. Drained tank cleaned it installed new fuel pump strained gas back in tank and also changed fuel regulator. Tried to crank it but still wont start. Checked for spark on plugs pulled spark plugs and check gaps. Plugs are as little worn but not bad. I have seen worse. All the plugs are auto-lite plugs. Specks call for .044 plugs are +/- .048. Check for spark on all of them. Spark is good. Checked compression with all 8 plugs removed. Ran each one 2 times for 6 seconds each. This is the readings
1) 50-55
2) 75-40
3) 40-30
4) 80-70
5) 45-45
6) 90-100
7) 70-80
8) 40-50
I even tried using starting fluid and it still does not want to start. I turned the crank shaft to 10 degrees BTC. Remove distributor cap and rotor button is pointing at #1. Had someone watch as I turned the crank shaft back and forth. There is no play in the timing chain almost the instant the crank is turned back and forth the rotor button turns. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. Did not check fuel pressure at the rail. But when i depress the shrader valve gas shoots up high enough to hit the hood of the truck. Someone said inside the fuse box there is a fuse shape diode that may cause it to not start because the signals to the computer come through it and if it goes bad the computer may be reading the signals wrong or not at all.
Any thoughts??
