05-07 iPhone 6+ mod question

I keep my phone in the pocket next to the oem brake controller in my 06 S
Now with the I phone 6 + I need a little more width so want to see if I can heat and stretch the back of the pocket

Can someone tell me how to get this out please

Pry it out. Get a small flathead or panel removal tool under the top and bottom edges and work it outwards. There may be a harness plug attached to the back of the pocket, which would be for up fitters switches if not equipped. Otherwise it'll come right out, and it'll snap right back in when you've stretched it.

There are two clips on the top and a lip on the bottom, if I remember correctly. I had it in and out several times in my '06 when I was taking measurements to install a second set of upfitters. I ended up being able to pop one side out, and then loosen the other top clip and just yank the whole thing forward. I learned to not be afraid, and once I stopped trying to be overly gentle it was a whole lot easier…keep in mind it's just a piece of plastic it's going to really take a whole lot to break it.

Got er done

Pocket came out with a good tug
Please note the brake controller has to come partially out to do a lip on the pocket
Behind the controller

Heat gun and a towel around phone worked to stretch it enough for a good fit
