I am the proud owner of a brand used F250, 460. I am brand new to Ford trucks and would appreciate any input on items I should check on this truck that may need to be replaced and also some things that I should check/lube/change on a regular routine maint. plan (besides oil ch., air filter, coolant. I'm no mechanical genius, so please don't assume anything I've left off). Thanks!
spark plugs and plug wires are always a must when buying a new truck..that has been a problem with both of the trucks i bought used. Hope you have many miles to come with your truck

If you are past 50,000 miles you may want to consider greasing your wheel bearings and hub locks. Easy to do but takes a day. make sure you have an impact wrench and the correct socket to remove the wheel nuts.
Also wouldn't hurt to check and or change the radiator fluid, tranny fluid, flush and bleed your brakes. Take a look at your brake pads, Mine went at about 60K miles and I did not see the worn front pads during routine checks. You need to look at the inner diameter of both pads. From the outside they might look fine, from the inside they may be worn. Cost me about $70 to learn that lesson.
