Coolant filteration
Approximately 400 miles ago, I installed a coolant filter. Today was pull it, dump it and examine the contents. One of you guys recommended this to me along with various other things. I shall forever be grateful!! The crap that this filter collected was amazing. If I could figure out how to post the picture of the mud (from the filter) pictured in a mason jar, I'd do it. I don't know if everyone has one of these filtration setups, but if you don't, you might want it. No wonder my oil cooler is marginal.

Winters coming pretty quickly in this part of the north so the flush is happening this weekend. New t-stat is in my garage so we'll pull the old and flush like crazy. New a-freeze and d-water, t-stat and should be good to go.
