Timing Chain Cover.

Timing Chain Cover.
I am replacing the timing chain on my 1990 F-250 with a 351. I took out all the bolts that hold on the water pump and the timing cover to the block and timing cover also I have the for oil pan bolts out to and it won't budge. I have the harmonic balancer off also we tried wedge in a 5lb sledge hammer in between the timing cover and head to try and pry it off but it look as if we were going to break the handle. Any suggestion or tips from any body who has had the same problem will be very appreciated.
