I'm reluctant to post again so quickly for fear of swamping y'all's little brains (), but have more updates as well as a question or two. So, here goes.....

Spoiler: I ordered the chin spoiler today from Green Sales. I hope I like it, and hope it does wonders for the MPG, although I doubt it.

Engine: I called RK Machine in Ripley, OK. They are the ones Yaga recommended and are the ones we discussed thoroughly at the last GTG. Talked to Tim. Turns out they don't really have set prices. (Sounds like everything is "custom". ) But, after I get a bit closer to knowing what I want to do then I can call back or go over and we'll figure out the cost. However, he did say that Tim's price of $1300 for a fully-balanced rotating assembly is the way to go. In fact, he seemed surprised at the price - which might be telling me something.

But, I can't order the rotating assembly yet because it comes with the pistons and I don't know which pistons to go with as I don't know what heads I'm going to use. I'm still waiting on two guys to get back with me regarding the Aussie 302C heads. And, Tim says I should bring the rotating assembly to them so they can mock the engine up in order to get the deck height right. So, everything is on hold awaiting the decision on the heads.

Seat: I've been looking for a bucket seat setup with a flip-down center seat/console, but haven't found what I'm looking for. I thought I was looking for one from an extended cab or maybe a Bronco so I could have the console 90% of the time but still have the seat when needed, but haven't found it. However, I have found a custom seat on CL that I'll probably go see soon - maybe Saturday. However, I'm not sure I like it, for a couple of reasons. First, and it is kinda silly, I was sorta wanting to keep the truck as "Ford" as I can and this ain't Ford. Second, I don't like the color and haven't figured out what to do about it. I can use some SEM dye like I'm going to do on the rest of the interior, but don't think I want it to be all maroon and I don't see where or how to break it up. Here are some pictures (linked to CL so they may go away), so y'all tell me what you think. PLEASE

Here's an updated post w/o the pics. I have no idea what the pics were so let's just do w/o them.

EDIT: The original post had pics from Craigslist but those pics are no longer available so the links have been removed.
