I actually prefer the front end of the 08-10 SD to the 11-15. I have had both. Too much chrome on the new ones. I got Platinum Pkg so I could get a minimal amount of chrome in the grill (Platinum grill is satin and chrome instead of all chrome) and body colored bumpers. I still may end up painting the grill black or swapping it out.

good to see someone who's honest... Even before I got my truck 2008<~~~so I guess I'm tainted in this convo... The 08-10 is one of my favorites of all time... we go to car/truck shows a lot so we're next to a few at each one... the more you sit there the more they seem to stare at all the 08-10's.... all that being said...15's are nice trucks!! just my 2centsssss worth!
I'm really not much on the look of the 6.7 front end.. It's just too big, I don't know if it's all the chrome or what. Just trying to get a different look. Plus I love the 6.4 grills
I guess my problem with the 08 to 10 is the grill hanging down when the hood is open. Reminds me of a Dodge. Diff. opinions however is what makes the world go round and I'm not criticizing yours. Just preference.
