acetoned grill?

Has anyone tried using acetone on the front grill to make it all chrome? I know it works on the other emblems...but, does it work on the grill?

The grill is not metal is it ????
would think it is black "plastique" like the X grill

jd.. he is talking about trying th same procedure on the grill as people do on their plastic emblems.

I don't think they "chrome" the whole grill though... I think the only finish the part we see.

That all chrome grill looks nice and not a bad price...but my brushguard covers my grill ...oh well
