Today I went to LKQ savage yard armed with a 3/8" deep socket , a cordless impact drill with phillips #2 bit, a utility knife, a small spoon prybar, a larger prybar, and a small wooden wedge block. A rag and a small jar of gas, to clean up.
I found a same year BII and removed the inside plastic, that revealed
that nutted studs held in the glass/rubber boot assembly. I gently pryed
the lower metal bezel to find black stuff was the weather seal & flat-rope seal. It was a hot day and removed very easily. I was charged $24.99 plus tax.
I will have to only buy more black stuff from my local auto parts store
on my way home.
