We're searching for two hubcaps for 17 inch wheels. They’re really hard to find. We'll highly appreciate when somebody could give us a hint where we can find these caps.

Reason: Some words are not correct.
38 39 had v8 on them when the six came out they said ford. I know where some that say ford are. They are NOS and wrapped in tissue paper. I might be able to find the seller but not tonight...
I just left him a phone message because I finally found his number. They are just like brand new, flawless and even have perfect blue paint in the lettering. I hope I can connect you two because they are such nice caps and he doesn't have the truck anymore. I know there were 2 that he unwrapped for me, but perhaps all 4.
Noone has ever reproduced those caps. You will have to find originals. If GB comes through for you, you will owe him big. Otherwise, keep an eye on Hemmings, that auction site, etc.
Just talked on the phone with him. The two mint ones are NOS, he has various others that have some dents but are still nice. This is where the internet shines. I will PM you his email. If that doesnt nwork, you can PM me and I will respond with his email... Hope it works out OK for both.
I PMd the original poster and gave him Jon's email address. Jon has more and they are all the ford script ones. I would say that for now the two NOS ones are spoken for, but he said the used ones are pretty nice. I'll wait to see what happens with the OP since he was first and he's overseas. Then I can PM you his address. I think that's what is fair in this case.
You are so very welcome. I had responded to a craigslist add and the guy had a hood and some front fenders for a '47 1/2 ton. I didn't really have to have them but they were cheap and when I got there and met him he started showing me other parts he had accumulated over the years. I have a '47 1/2 ton that will be this winter's project and last winter I did a '47 two ton. I don't make them perfect, just running well and stopping well and I have a blast using them around my island community and my ten acres home and worksite where I use them in my sawmilling operation. I do have others too. I have a youtube video on my '37 truck. It's called 37 ford 1.5 ton with load of logs or something like that. Those caps are as nice as I remembered them to be. Glad I could help
