delta flow or none
hey, i recently had a exhaust shop put a dual exhaust on my truck. it has dual catco converters and dual 40flowys. i am just starting to wonder, is there any way that i can tell if he put on deltaflow mufflers? i think its too quiet for my taste but im guessing thats the cats. i have pics under my superford page listed below, any ideas?

hey bra i dont have any advice only quetions cause i am trying to do 40 flowys out dual.did you run tru duals from each side of u'r motor or did you just spilt u'r pipes after the cats with mufflers on left and right? theres a posting i just looked at , the heading was, "true dual, single exhaust,or dual after muffler" the guy truckman79 gives some cool speech on this subjet and boy does he take it home! check it out.. delta's supposedly are quieter.goodluck!

heh no i had gone through and thrown out the whole old exhaust and replaced it with hedman hedders to dual highflow cats to the 40's. i am still considering cutting back on the cats because its too quite but i better get it running first!

If its a delta flow, you should be able to see marks on the outer skin of the muffler where plates were welded to the skin from the inside. It should look like a series of V's (three i think) in a line. I say should because you can see the V's on mine but its possible that you might not be able to see them. Also, there should be a part# etched into either the inlet or outlet side of the muffler body, reference that PN with flowmaster to find out if its a delta flow.
