Starter Trouble

Starter not always engaging. Only a year old, so replaced solenoid. Still intermittant. Any ideas? Motor still spins withfulltorque and relatively new batteries.

Which motor? engine or starter motor? If the starter motor spins but does not engage the engine the starter drive is going bad. Mine acts up occasionally but not enough to tear apart yet.
