do these idiot cops who sign these tickets even look at them before they sign them?
My wife got one in the mail from Aurora Co. apparently she was driving her 1988 Logan horse trailer? well at least that is what they think, the picture is a newer (2013, 2014) suv, they do look a lot like a 1988 horse trailer right?
I guess the colorado inspection sticker in the windshield looks a lot like an Arizona state inspection sticker? Oh wait we don't have state inspection stickers in our windshield, and our horse trailers don't have windshields.
when I called them I was not too nice to the person who answered the phone as I brought up all this information, it was hard to not laugh at her. the next day I got a call and they said that after further review the city of Aurora decided to drop the ticket!
perhaps recreational pot isn't a great idea, I am sure Arizona will allow it soon, so I might as well get used to stuff like this.
Wouldn't you know it Bart I just received a ticket in the mail stating that I "failed to stop while making a right turn on a red light" They gave me a website so I can view video, which I will after I wake up. The pictures actually show me clearly. Shoulda been drinking a beer and smoking a joint,,jk Will post later after I see video. No mention of bail amount but I expect 400+
i got one of them too Hank.
i was not aware i had blond hair, big hooters, and drove a red prius.
since it was winter and i was off work, i showed up in court just for the hell of it.
judge asked how i was pleading and i told him watch the video and you tell me.
he apologized, and ripped the camera cops a new one.
and all the cameras in that town have since been removed.

Oh, man----now that had to be one funny session in court, would have loved to be there!
Seems with the general outrage of problems with the photo enforcement stuff more and more municipalities are eliminating them. It seems they're not quite the deterrent originally hoped for, cause a lot of problems. Then again maybe they're bringing in enough money to justify them, at least to financially-strapped areas?
Well I watched video and yes I braked and slowly made a right. No other cars around. Open up wallet soon I suppose.
Guess you guys can say you know a convict.

What NFL team do you play for? (see, what you did isn't so bad after all)
It was just on the news here that Springfield is finally getting rid of the cameras that have been sitting dormant for the last few years.
Among other problems, they were causing people to slam on their brakes causing a big increase of rearend crashes.
i really don't know why people put that on their plates, it does not work blocking plate readers.
the only thing it does is keeps the plate clean so you do not have to wash it after driving through mud.

Must mean something, I have already paid a fine (motorcycle cop) and been warned by GSP (while changing a flat). Two separate incidents.
I, on occasion, have driven in the "Alternative Fuel Lane" over the last year and no citations (photo evidence).
