Supershield sealant on bed wood
So last week I stumbled on this product called Supershield that I was going to use on the Ipe decking I purchased for my home.
(Brazilian hardwood pronounced E-pay)
End result, I opted not to use it because the ipe is an oily wood and the manufacturer mentioned a few instances of adhesion problems.
They reiterated that they stand by their product on every everything else but don't advise it being used on ipe now.
I was excited to use this until the oil/adhesion had me worried but then got thinking this would be an amazing application for my truck.
After seeing the abuse video, how well it held up to high traffic and 20+ year protection...I'm about 99% sold.
Has anyone else used this or even heard of it for that matter?

I several links saved and the 2 posted were to show an example and application and then just a link for the manufacturer.
I'm not sure of pricing.
I suspect purchase direct from that manufacturer link I posted.
One outfit I contacted took 2 weeks to respond to my inquiry about price and shipping/Canadian sales.
When I informed him of what the mfg. said about the product used with ipe he went on to defend and state "Were keeping an eye on it" and "it's all about the application"
Well not going to be a guinea pig with my 20k worth of wood.
