Antenna

Has anyone out there changed out the stock antenna for something just a tad shorter? I am just tired of the antenna hitting the garage as I pull in. I can't seem to find anything put those cheezy looking rubber antennas that the guys put on their little rice burner cars.

Thanks

I just pulled the little ball off the tip, cut off a couple of inches, and replaced the ball. I don't notice any loss of signal.

Regards,

Joe

Yes it does. It's pressed on, but will come off with a little effort. I should mention that Ford probably made the attenna longer than the roof is high as an early warning that you may be going under something too short for the X.

Regards,

Joe
