Did you have this same problem before replacing the CPS? Who's CPS? Aftermarket units are fickle - IH or Ford OEM CPSs can be counted on. Now that you have a CEL/SES light, codes are stored in the truck. You want to find out what they are.

riff raff sells the ford cps for the same price as the aftermarket ones. I tried an aftermarket and my truck would die when the windshield wipers came on.

It's an oem cps and it was just cutting out for like a split second and keep on going it didn't die now it will cut out for a split second while driving and I noticed that when it does die coming to a stop my rpms will drop to almost 500 so that makes me think it could b the idle control sensor? It does die when I turn my wipers on tho and when I start it back up the SES will go out but I can drive about 10 to 15 miles and it will come back on and act up again

This could be a loose ground on your wipers - they've been known to do that.

What about the TCC staying locked? If had that on a couple occasions, Does it just smoothly shut off, or does it seem like it jerks or surges before it dies. any modifications to the engine or trans? see what the code it's throwing then we don't have to guess.

The PCM adjusts the idle based on the RPM signal from the cam position sensor. There's no separate sensor.

So I went to auto zone so they could scan my truck for the code and their scanner said no codes found and when I turn the truck off then back on the SES goes off. Is it possible it resets itself?

The scanners at the parts stores aren't adequate to pull all codes on these trucks. If you put your location in your profile, someone nearby may be able to help you out.
