No worries! Your point re tire pressure is spot on and serves as a great reminder for me to always ensure I air up when planning a trip, i.e. when under load. Heck, I might even get used to the 80 psi, considering how little I drive that beast just around town.
The two blow-outs I had on my old truck were both due to low pressure/overheat situations caused by slow leaks due to imbedded screws. Truck tires, whether commercial or "standard" (for lack of a better word) are not as forgiving as passenger tires....
I have mine set up on 22.5 Alcoa's. I love it. I did change rotors, and pads, a tad better fuel mileage, only did a leveling kit on front in and cut 3" of valance. Gotta do a steering stabilizer
