351 modify??
Just bought a 79 F250 with this motor and I can honestly say I know nothing about this motor. Can I get any info. You guys might have about it and any tips or tricks. Thanks guys.

I had a 79 with a 400m. What i know about these 79 M-engines is that they are heavily smogged out and pretty well gutless. Im not a big fan. But they are pretty reliable and will get the job done as most fords do. I have read that you can hook up trannys from 460s to em never done it so i cant attest to the accuracy of that.

I do have a 400 on the shop floor, I do not know anything about it, got it in a deal for labor. has a 4 bbl Elderbrock man. and a C6 trans. I run a 460 in my Bronco and it is bolted to a c6 from a 351m engine.
