Really in need of some help sourcing a specific dash bezel, insert, gauge cluster,
Whatever you want to call it, this is the model I really had my heart set on:
It was made by CCM Rod shop and due to low demand they have discontinued it.
It is advertised on the Classic Instruments web page but they are a dealer for CCM products
The fine gentleman from Classic Instruments even went so far as to call and see if he could ask a favour of them and make me a 1-off.
Unless I'd like a minimum of 12 units, No bueno!
Anyhow, I have scoured the net and only come up the usual flat bezel with the grooves and lines routed in for looks.
They just don't fit with the vision I have for the interior of the truck.
Found This second style with a bit more detail but still has a bit of a lip on the edge which I like but it won't hold the large 5" Classic instruments speedometer and four smaller 2 1/8" gauges (volt, temp, oil, fuel)
If anyone knows of another manufacturer, please let me know, otherwise
I have machinists with CNC machines who are willing to give this a shot but said it would be ideal if I had a template or CAD drawing even a tracing of the flat bezel style.
Reaching here but does anyone happen to have something like this?
Thanks very much and hope everyone has a great weekend.
There was a guy either here on the FTE or possibly over on the HAMB that DID pay the bucks and have a dozen made. He was selling off the extras in the classifieds. I am fairly sure that it was the same panel as you have pictured.
The dreaded "Might not ship to Canada" is below the asking price on the listing.
Doesn't list hole sizes either. Poop!
Trying to figure out how to contact seller. Ebay message saying he/she/they can't be messaged when I click the Ask seller a question tab.
It is at Midwest Early Ford. You could call 800-543-5035 or 937-325-2408 It does say in the ad 3 3/8" speedo though, I didn't see that before. There may be room for a larger speedo though.
Fingers crossed.
At this point, I'd pay just to have an example in hand to have exactly what I want designed and built.
As mentioned in original post I have scoured the net. Meaning I have been staring at web sites for days now hunting for this part. My google-fu is tired and not as observant today.
