7.3l Delayed Start Issue

I just put a remaned 7.3l PS in my '96 F250. It was a long block and I used all the parts it didn't include from the old motor which ran great and started with little delay. (Changed the motor due to two large cracks in block) With the new motor, I have about a 10 second delay before it will start. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what might be causing this? I have already changed most sensors and the o rings on the IPR. Thanks for any and all help.

Delay as in cranking but not starting? How many miles since the install of the motor? You could still have some air in the system that hasent been worked out.

The truck cranks perfectly, just doesn't start as quickly as the old motor did. The motor has a total of about 15 miles on it. I was hoping the issue might be because of how new it is. Thank you for the reply.

I agree, it took me 160 miles to work the air out after an injector change once.

Sounds good! I'll run it up to around 200 miles and post an update. Thank you all for the help!
