Had a blow out the other day and my wheel is toast!!!! I was running 16x6 8 lug 10 vent hole aluminum wheels. Does anyone know if these were a stock oem wheel? I've searched all over the Internet and can't find anything on a 10 vent hole wheel. Any help much appreciated!!!
Ok thanks. I guess I've come to a conclusion that their after market. They have stamped on them a manufactor date of 3/86 so that has thrown me for a loop. I will try to get a picture posted of the wheel.
Why don't you check around and see if it can be repaired. There is a possiblilty it can be repaired. With all these high dollar aftermarket and factory aluminum rims on cars and trucks now, a sideline has sprung for people opening mobile wheel repair services. Check into it in your area.
Here's just one example of a big shop where you ship the wheel in.
Thanks guys!!! I will look into possibly getting it fixed if anyone in my area does that. I also realized all else fails instead of buying four wheels, just buying a 8 venthole wheel. i mean it wouldnt be THAT unnoticeable!! lol

Run it on the inside on the rear and nobody will be the wiser.
Not legal? Never heard of such a thing, lots of big rigs come out of the factory just that way with a plastic shim between the wheels to prevent corrosion.
Unless it is some sort of weird law that they only enforce on US registered trucks and let us canucks slide when operating on your side of the border.
