Went to school and when I got there steam started rolling from under the hood. Radiator fluid all over the ground. The lower hose had barely any heat on it when I touched it. Also can't see any holes or rips in the hose itself? What could it be
Could be lots o' stuff. Get under the hood when it cools off. If you're lucky maybe just a bad hose...if not, thermostat, bad radiator, bad waterpump, bad heatercore, etc. are all possibilities.
I poured water into it when it was off and ir all came out at the timing chain area. Water pump?
No timing chain on our 2.3's. Just a timing belt under that black plastic cover. The water pump is a good possibility but it could also be the thermostat cover which is right above the water pump. I actually decided to replace mine a few years back because it had just about rusted through. Maybe yours has.
