Paintworks, I have a question about the 226 engine. (I have one also in my F2)
What is the feature coming up from the center of the cylinder head? Is that a coolant line? I haven't seen anything attached there before.

I have one question though, what's the line running from the head stud just in front of the air cleaner bracket (appears to go toward the right fender)? I have the same stud and nut on mine but there was no line attached.
OK, I'll make it three. What the heck is it? I don't have anything like it on my 226 either and have never seen one before in any pics.

Great. Next question....did you make your own wood crossmembers or did you buy them from the Bruce Horkey website? What are they made from?

I don't see any bolts at the edges of the floor next to the side panels, how did you fasten the edge?

How wide were the wood planks? When I disassembled mine (what was left of them) they were close to 7 5/8" wide.
