First off your paying for the durability… these things are tough. High temp silicone with silicone sleeves over the wires. They can lay on a header all night and not burn thru.

Second... most guys can get five racing seasons or more out of 'em. The guy who owned my kids modified had ten year old Moroso wires on it and installed the same pair on his new car last season. Certainly makes the price awful cheap.

There's more to spark plug wires than ohms per foot.
Are you paying for durability, or a name and the illusion of durability?

All good quality wires these days have the bulk of the wire made out of high temp silicone.

Silicone of any quality still isn't temperature resistant enough to lay on a hot header. If they are surviving that then your engine isn't running very well, or the headers are wrapped or something.

Five seasons of racing is nothing, try 10 years of daily driving.

True there is more then ohms per foot but as the wires only job is to transfer electricity ohms is VERY important. Also the core of the lower ohm wires tend to last longer. The goal is to get the most power from the coil to the plug without messing up the radio. The benefits of this taken further is of great advantage. Larger gap, fewer lean misses, ability to run leaner, longer plug and cap life. etc.

In addition to the 8.0mm wire they have an additional silicone sleeve over the wire to protect them from header heat… very durable.

All I know is they were recommended by the guy who built the kid's engine. He's a straight shooter… known him for years as he's done a lot of race engine and hot rod work for me for 20 years.

I suggested the Taylor's like we have on the spare distributor but my son pay's the bills. After hearing how long the PO's wires lasts I guess I was sold.
