Radiator Core Support Question

In my 52 F-1, springs are used on the bolts that hold the core support to the chassis crossmember. After everything is cinched up, how much should the core support move after the inner fenders, outer fenders, and the piece above the headlights are installed?

Please define "cinched up?" The intent of the design is to allow the front sheet metal assembly to 'float' when the frame flexes. If everything is mounted solidly, the truck would literally tear itself to shreds. The nuts used on the core support bolts are castellated for the use of a cotter pin through a hole in the bolt. Where the castle groves meet the hole, that's as tight as you want to "cinch up" anything. The rest should take care of itself.
