I'm a proud new owner of a 97 cclb with the mighty 7.5L. I just brought it home today after driving 600 miles to pick up a different truck and it falling through. I saw this one sitting and went and asked the owner about it. Long story short and a three state drive back it did in my drive way. It has 150k and is pretty clean. My question is what tips and tricks are out there for a new owner? I searched but was lost in what and what not to do.
Awesome forum and thanks for the knowledge.
what state are you in?...if you are in the rust belt, look at the exhaust ports of the heads to the exhaust manifolds to make sure they are not about to rot out (on the head side)>
