302 EGR problem?
93 302 and my idle is off...I have searched for a vacuum leak, but nothing (used the shop vac hose with pointy attachment to listen).
I have seen posts about EGR problems. Here's what I did so far. Pulled the vacuum line from the EGR, didn't notice anything different in the idle. I checked to see if there was any suction from the line or the EGR and nothing from the EGR itself, but I could feel a tiny bit of pulsating from the line when I revved the engine...I couldn't tell whether it was suction or pressure...
I don't have a code reader yet, are there any obvious things that this tells?

You don't need a code reader - just a paperclip or any jumper wire. The Haynes manual shows how to pull codes, and so does this thread. The diagram is in the link to the full code list.
The codes will tell you what systems the computer has detected a problem in. That will narrow down what you need to test, and the Haynes shows exactly how to perform each test and what order to do them in.
The most likely cause for your trouble is the IAC, and the Haynes tells everything about it. You might also find some useful info here, but put "f150" in the Model field; not "f-150".
