Steering Stabilizer Help
Have 2013 F250 w/ReadyLift 2/2.5 level lift on 35" Toyo MT's with one hell of a rough shacking steering wheel. I'm ordering Bilstein 5100 series shocks for the truck but for stabilizers would Bilstein factory replacement be enough or should I also purchase a seperate stabilizer beside the Bilstein factory replacement? Is it either or both?

All I have is the factory stabilizer right now. The ride of the truck is somewhat smooth but when I hit bumps or encounter a bumpy road my steering wheel shacks side to side. Others I've talked to installed dual stabilizers and the shacking stopped but i'm afraid to replace factory with one and its not enough and have to make more modifications.

Search death wobble here for a lot of suggestions. What fixed my stock F250 was aired up tires to door plate spec, blistein shocks and steering dampener, new trac bar. I destroyed the trac bar trying to get it off, which is really the only reason I had to replace it. Pay close attention to the trac bar bushing on the frame side, which from my reading is the number one contributing factor to violent steering wheel oscillation after a road bump.

Sorry for not responding sooner. Work offshore overseas. Got home after reading more about this and went straight to the local shop told them issue. They put it on the lift and found that with the Ready Lift SST 2.5/2" lift I installed the track bar relocater bracket and never tightened anything up like I thought the other local shop had checked and done with it was aligned after. I did replace factory shocks and factory steering dampner with Bilsteins and the ride is back and better than factory.
