Magnetic mount "riser"
I use a magnetic mount led on the roof of my 2006 F350 crewcab.
The roof has ridges running from front to back, with only about six to eight inches of actual flat roof at the very back.
The only place to put the led is on that flat part because (a) the led otherwise straddles the ridges and the magnets don't touch the roof and (b) the ridges are not wide enough for the magnets to get enough of a grip.
With the led way at the back, it tends to get covered in snow quicker.
Does anyone know of a magnetic extension or something that i could place between the ridges to raise it high enough to place the led on? Just curious if anyone has ever dealt with thus issue successfully.
