Yeah I know the TTB trucks can be rough on tires but I should not see feathering like this just because its a TTB in 600 miles or less of driving. Once the TTB gets dialed in they usually do pretty good unless you are hauling/towing alot. I will have to take it in again and talk with the alignment tech and see what he thinks now that the feathering is getting worse. I wish the solid axle swaps weren't so expensive!
This sounds like a real possibility. I feel like everytime I take my truck to a shop I need to go in there and tell them how to align my truck.
ive had techs frequently ask me how i got my alignments nearly dead on without a computer or alignment machine telling me i was correct... Simply reply to them that if you know basic math you can do it in your own driveway..
These are my go to guys for my alignment and frame problems. They have worked on six of my road tractors over the years doing everything from frame straitening to alignments to complete front end rebuilds.
I had my '55 F350 in there years ago because the kingpins were frozen and the steering wheel wouldn't return to center. I think they changed me $90.00 to replace one king pin and get the other freed up.
Good read. I guarentee the guy was too lazy to break free those bolts you mention. My friend works at Ford and is a mechanic there. I bought some F250 springs and he said he would put on for me for some cash. He has had my truck almost 2 weeks b/c it's waiting on an alignment and I can tell he's not excited about it. He's been soaking the bolts for about a week. I trust him very much though as he's done other work on cars for me and they drive straight as can be. It's more than just slapping it up on the rack and pushing a few buttons. Good luck OP, hope it gets aligned for you.
Hey Kyle got a picture of your truck btw? From reading your signature it seems nice. Love those style wheels. You have the same tires I do as well. They came on mine when I bought it but I really like them.

Yeah. Here's a picture of my truck and the alignment cams.
The truck doesn't leak oil (not as bad as the picture looks anyways) the oil looking spots are from the power breaker dripping off as I've been spraying it the all weekend.
