Ford Aerostar OEM parts?
Excellent question.
I have yet to hear of any good sources for OEM Aerostar parts.
I do get some from Craigslist and Ebay.
I have some that might interest you for your 96.
I had a 2 wheel drive one that I changed out for a 96 AWD, so I have some parts new and used that I do not need. I was about to change out the power steering pump and lines on mine with 165K, bought parts and then switched to the AWD and it should be OK for these items as well as a pristine set of 4 1996 14" hubcaps and a pristine rear bench, the 3rd one, in Cocoa. As well as some Purolator Oil filters, etc.
Used tail and Headlights. Cleaning out the garage. Heck I even have a like new mini spare.
If I find a better source I will post it. If you would like a full listing of what I have send me the details of your 96 and what you are looking for.
Have a great day.

No Aero parts
Went to, what I thought was a big show, the fall car show and swap meet at the Clark County fairgrounds in Springfield Ohio last weekend. Thousands of people, neat cars and dealers from all over the country, even as far away as California. Not an Aerostar part to be found! When I inquired with a few of the Big dealers and i got some weird reactions like , "you gotta be kiddin me" and even "whats an Aerostar" ! Oh well I guess ill stick to ebay, craigslist and other online sources.
Good luck and all have a good day.

There are some genuine Ford Aerostar parts scattered around different Ford dealers that can be had if your local Ford parts man is worth his salt. Mine was able to find me some rear suspension arm bushings some place in Texas when I rebuilt the rear suspension. Of course I had to pay full retail Ford prices plus shipping up front.
