high boy bed
I have a chance to get a high boy bed for my hb chassie.Im going with rear gas tank,,,the fellow mentioned round rear imprint for gas fill.I know hb had in cab tanks,what would i need for rear fill on this high boy bed?

What kind or rear gas tank, cause a standard width frame one will not fit, so I hear...but a 23 gallon little 90's ish Ranger truck plastic one will fit, so I hear anyway.
Cut a gas flap recessed hinge area out of a junk bed and weld it in. Might have to shorten the filler neck just a bit?
How it that for a guess?

the hb bed has this plug,where they used the bed for (Iguess )2 wheel drive vehicles....I will need to remove plug,and go with filler neck,,,,trying to hit reveiws up see if any one has done that on there hb

Oh so that bed has that style like a old 73 exposed gas cap, but its plugged like a CC F250 2wd short bed (they plugged the front tank spot) got it now.
Can you locate a JY bed with a exposed filler neck cap and get that filler neck?
I can make a JY lap in a month as soon as I am off the road. I have seen that style of bed and filler cap up there.

thanks Rich I really appreciate the offer,just trying to find if its out there for sale.I was researching and saw Hickory bed had the oval filler in the rear....if I cant find it Ill take you up on the offer if its still there.Thanks for your help......looks like Marks bed,but with the filler plug and its long
