FTE NC Bonfire
Very kind of you to offer your place up for the bbq Josh.
What time do you want folks to show up?
How do you want folks to get your address? Do you want to post it or have folks message you for directions?
Do you have a fire pit and do you want/need any wood to burn?
I'll bring a shelter and some tarps in case of rain.
I'll bring a side and a dessert and some soft drinks. I'll also bring plastic utensils and napkins.
Need anything else?

Gotcha! Bob knows where I'm at, or if you want to make your own way over, let me know and I'll PM you the address.
PM sent. I'm still planning on putting around 15 lbs on the smoker. figure 3-5 of that will be fat, but should leave us with about 10lbs of good smoked meat. I have to pick the meat up today, so I'll know more when I do.
So far the list reads.

So hit the farmers market today and was able to score a 5 lb, 6 lb and a 3 lb cut. They should be ready for seasoning in the morning, and cooking by Saturday. Best bring some appetites, as there is liable to be a lot of meat, and the sides are piling up.
Now here's hoping to the weather holding out so the smoker can run all day!

Picked up a fire pit today, so throw in some of those pine logs you have, also bring some folding chairs if you have one and we can sit out with a fire for a few hours. The meat is ready to go on early, Bob stopped by and helped prep it all. Now if the weather will hold out, could be a good day!
I'll bring some wood. The shelter. Some chairs. Along with the food and other stuff I said I would.
Hope the weather holds off. Looked like rain tonight at the game but never rained. Maybe more of the same tomorrow.
Thanks again for hosting and doing all the smoking/grilling.

Well the pork is in the smoke, lunch is going, and dinner is smelling good. Bob and Marty have shown up already, so when ever anyone is free, just go ahead and show up. The stories might get a little wild.
So we had a fantastic dinner but it wasn't quite a bonfire. So let's plan an afternoon/evening social around a fire sometime soon.
I need to do some weed eating and general clean up around the burn pile but should be ready by the time it starts getting a little chilly at nights.
I'll check our calendar and give out a selection of dates to choose from.
No major food. Some appetizers and cold/warm beverages. Some guitars and bb guns.
I'll keep yall posted.

Lol! I'll break out Grandad's Crosman 38T. Just finished a light restoration on it. Had the trigger rebuilt with new seals and finally found someone selling the grip that clips onto the CO2 cylinder. And it's in .22!
I still have that Marlin Model 60 that Tim likes shooting. My cheap Hipoint 45 that has never, let me down, and my Witness 9mm that I have yet to even finish a box of ammo with. And my Snubbed nosed 38 special.
