Gauge readings can vary a little so if you're in the ballpark here you're probably fine.
At idle you should see 32-35psi with vacuum attached to the regulator as it should normally be, and 39.5-45psi with vacuum removed from the regulator. Here's the key thing, pressure should ALWAYS increase towards the higher levels when the throttle is snapped opened quickly or the engine is placed under sustained load while the vehicle is moving. Dropping pressure is weak pumps, clogged filter, or leaky injectors, but if your gauge produces 30 and 38psi with these tests then you're probably fine, it looks a little low but that could be gauge calibration error.
filter is new. i did a tune up not that long ago or should i say miles ago but its running not to good lately and when the humidity goes up it runs worse. maybe i have to change the cap and rotor again. it has a slight miss under a load and now it is getting worse
