Pulling codes - where is the connector?

1989 F350 7.5l

I cannot find the module where you connect the wire to. I got the instructions for pulling codes. Is it on the driver's side in the engine bay?

Pulling codes - where is the connector?

My 88 is on the drivers side, back by the hinge for the hood.

Pulling codes - where is the connector?

Near the L hood hinge, usually inside a black cover that has "EEC TEST" molded into it.

On an 89 it might be attached to the relay box which is bolted to the back of the windshield washer/coolant reservoir.

I found the "EEC TEST" module. Now I need to figure out what to connect and where, it doesn't seem clear at all.
