My truck is having some problems with all this rain we are getting in south florida. I thought i fixed the problem but now it has returned. The truck will be off but turning signals will work, radio works, horn gets stuck beeping unless disconnected and chime goes off nonstop as if there is a key in ignition when you open the door. I noticed a small puddle of water on the floor board under the steeasng colom as well. I originally thought it was the wiper motor connection because the previous owner wited the wipers to a switch on the dash instead of the original way to turn wipers on. And i fixed this connection and the problems went away but they are back! Any ideas on what is getting wet or what is happening?! Fuse box inside fuse panel is making a sizzling noise. Please help
Put a sprinkler out and watch the show. Think like water..............
Start at the bottom of the puddle and work your way thru to the origin. You'll find it. Don't rule out any possible place. Water has its own way of thinking.
BTW, make sure you note the attitude of the truck, level, canted, etc....
If you don't hit on it, park differently and look for the trails end.

Thats what i was thinking was to spray it with a hose and watch for where it starts to leak. Hopefully ill find the spot.
If you want to eliminate a windshield leak, mask it off well below the seal. Could be a road spray problem, thus eliminating the sealarama. (If you don't find it on the first pass).
My guess is a small leak over your PCM or thereabouts.
Any integral sign of former pooling in that region of the truck? Matted carpet, white trail of dried atmosphere....etc. Generally people think that rain won't leave a dried trail but with all the stuff we run thru, it generally isn't a pure trail. Just sayin.

Well it kept raining so i decided to sit in the truck with my head under the fuse panel and saw that the leak was coming down the side of the inside of the dash where the door meets the dash where the parking brake pedal is.
Windshield is leaking and more than likely getting into your PCM causing it to short out. Wait for others to chime in but you probably are going to need a new one.

Is the PCM hard to replace? And what route do you think i should go with for fixing the winshield to stop the leaking?
Have a windshield company like safelite come out and work on it. Just tell them its leaking and needs sealed up and let them do their work. I'm sure they can do it without replacing the window. Get it done before you do burn out your PCM, if it hasn't already.
Had my windshield resealed last week at Safelite - $125 - and well worth it. No more "wet dog" smell when it rains & it's actually quieter driving, had a lot of wind noise previously around windshield from it coming loose. (It was pretty bad!)
Tech showed me where to look for signs of delaminating - look at the glass at the edges of the rubber windshield trim, if you see white, or a foggy gray/white, "inside" the glass, he said that's a sign of water/debris entering where the seal is bad. Mine was loose pretty much all the way around, you could press on the windshield from inside and see light between the body/glass.
I went and bought some weather stripping glue and re glued all my stripping where the leak was. Then i got some silicone sealant which is what everyone is advising to re seal the windshield. I sealed up the whole corner wheree it seemed to be leaking as well as around the rest of the windshield. Looks like the PCM stopped shorting everything is back to normal and we had a huge storm last night and no water was on the floorboard so looks like i fixed it. Thanks for all the help. Now to find my oil leak
Make sure you don't have a small crack from a rock truck or something. In Florida they pay 100% on replacement when stuff like that happens without raising comprehensive rates.
