I just bought this truck, 88' f150 5.8L C6 the crusie control and horn do not work. It's as if there is no power to the steering column. The only thing I have check so far is the fuse, which is good.
Just thought I would check with you guys to find out what to look for when I take apart the steering wheel this weekend.
on my '96 there is a plug under the horn cover, I would check that first, but it could also be the contact ring is worn out. is the wheel tight on the colum?
Could be the connection in the steering wheel. Keep in mind that the cruise control gets power through the horn relay, so if your horn or horn relay has a problem it will be reflected in the cruise also.
