Tried a search but couldn't find an answer to my situation...I recently traded my 2011 F250 for a 2014 F350. I had aftermarket 20" wheels and tires on the old truck with ford OEM TPMS sensors installed. There is plenty of meat left on the Toyo's and I want to mount the wheels and tires on my 2014. Will the computer need to relearn the sensors or should I be able to air up the rears and proceed with no low pressure warnings?
Not a clue, but it only takes 5 minutes to train the system.. I did it so I don't have to run 80 pound in the rear all the time.. I set mine to 65 for all four..
Key on and off 3x on 3rd cycle step on brake pedal, key off. Key on and off again 3x and on 3rd key on leave in key on position. System is now ready to train. Dash display will indicate train left front tire. Place TPMS FOB trainer near wheel and press button. Horn will beep when training of wheel set. Then move onto RH front tire. then Rh rear then LH rear. When all tires trained then double beep will sound and display will indicate training complete.
