fuel transducer install question...

so i'm installing this…
7 Bar (100 PSI) Fuel/oil Pressure Sender, 1/8 NPT. [AUBER-P207] - $55.63 : auberins.com, Temperature control solutions for home and industry
into this..
Pressure Port Adapter - Straight 1/8 FNPT - Riffraff Diesel Performance

the problem is the transducer is consistently leaking from the fitting into the filter bowl… i've tightened three or four times now and it still leaks. about a drip every 8 seconds or so…

my hands are busted up, my knees are killing me, and i'm just about ready to give up on this gauge install… any help or suggestions would be great. i'm turning to you professionals b/c this shade tree mechanic just can't seem to get it to stop leaking…

think i may have found an answer… SCOTTTAHOE posted some pics back in March of this year. thanks for viewing guys.

Did you put some tape or pipe dope on the NPT threads?

Where is the leak comming from, the NPT threads or the o-ring?

put some tape on the NPT threads (thats where it was leaking)… and wall'ah!! no more leaks. truck runs good with the new gauges. nice green glow and the fuel pressure never drops below 26psi. EGT's stay nice and low too… several times i've really stepped on it and i have yet to really get it into the solid 900 range yet.. not towing anything yet either though..
