I posted before about having a funny no start, it was my first one. Eventually cranked over without doing anything and it was fine for 2 weeks.
Happened again this morning before work, had my boss come over and give me a boost so i could crank away and test the scangauge out and look around without killing the batteries.
Of course everything builds oil fine, fuel bowl got fuel like it should.
Punched in FICM sync from the website and sure enough, was getting a 0 when cranking.
Never dealt with that before, so i just started jiggling wires and squeezing connectors tight around the driver side engine bay and under the FICM and that did it, cranked over after that.
Now the real question is, can FICM/CMP/CKP sensors be intermittent failure or does this point to loose connectors/corrosion or chaffed harness? I tried my best to look for chaffing between the sensors and what not and did not see much of anything, didn't see corrosion either
I pushed on all 3 FICM connectors as good as i could from that weird angle, i didn't hear any click so either they're seated or were seated right the whole time. I was afraid it would be harness, which means alot of twiddling thumbs and following wire
