Oil pan removal

I recently acquired a 77 F250 Supercab with the 351M. It has a small oil leak at the front of the oil pan. I have the seal to replace the old one. My question is, can I drop the pan without having to lift the motor? I climbed under the truck and it looks pretty tight so before I started loosening everything I thought I would ask. If I do have to jack up the motor whats the easiest way to do it? I dont currently have a cherry picker so that could pose an issue. I appreciate all the info I can get.

Is it a 4x4 or 2wd? If its a 4x4 you can drop the axle but if its a 2wd I'm afraid you may have to raise the motor.. I'm sure there is someone here whos more knowledgeable about it
